A breast cancer diagnosis changes a woman's life and the lives of her loved ones forever. Sutter Medical Center's Women's Health Resource and Breast Care Center has provided compassion and hope to these women since opening in 2004. One arm of the Breast Care Center is the Integrative Health and Healing Services (IHHS). IHHS offers complementary therapies and supportive services for women receiving breast cancer treatment, including massage, acupuncture, movement, nutrition counseling, and stress reduction therapies.  These services are provided free of charge for those with low-incomes or those heavily impacted by out-of-pocket medical expenses. Our goal is to expand these IHHS offerings to help as many women as we can who are going through this challenging time in their lives.
